What's the middle if not
The untouched landscape.
Where we'd go to see the sunset
And appreciate the stars.
And eat "middle" foods.
And enjoy the pure warm air.
And live it like there was no tomorrow.
Because tomorrow always started at 6.
And as the cows moved and their babies screamed.
And as you touched them
In such a way that
It brings so much joy
And so many positive feelings.
And as you recognize your cowboy past.
You leave the cows.
You leave the crowds.
And understand that
You don't need a crown.
There's nothing more worthy than
Being the owner of one's own destiny.
And as destiny can also have
Random forces, people's efforts
And much love.
You accept all the love you've got.
With open hands from the land to the air and to the sea.
The love within you.
