The portals of life
In the eyes of a child

This collection of poems is inspired by special moments in the French and Swiss landscapes. It captures the joy of unforgettable places, the warmth of smiles, and the beauty of human connection.

A few seasons

Some things need a few seasons.
For the wind to blow.

For the air to slip in the wet surfaces.

For the rain to fall slowly.

And for the people to smile in the crowds.

For the flowers to bloom.

For the singer to sing.

For the eyes to open.

For the journeys to cross.

For the seeds to become a crop.

And for the shepherd to find journeys

Whose existence he didn’t even know.

The eyes

Under the roof of a big tower.

To see and to be seen as if

The horizon is as infinite as

The endless air in the skies.

In that big boat in the air

In which I now travel,

I feel the tender drops

Of water,

Of bodily waters.

Tenderly touching my inner self.

And creating reactions,

Hormonal connections.

The frozen water,

That melted over the last glaciers

And froze again in the last few centuries.

So that it could melt over and over again.

Until the day arrives.

Until the ice becomes a river, a lake.

Suddenly, a feeling of euphoria consumes me.

A good sensation of sweet, kind moments

With another being that feels my warmness.

With whom I look into the eyes as if
He had the eyes of a child.

As if we both had the eyes of two children
Innocently looking at each other.

With dreams, aspirations, and emotions.

Endless Air

When a cry is like a barrage opening its doors to the world.

That satiates the world's softest lips.

When the mind feels like everything is about situations.

That wants to embrace without thinking about why.

When you get a kiss on the cheek in a tender way.

That touches your skin profoundly.

When the eyes of the child in that adult

That looks deep in the eyes

Without saying a word,

But showing

A world of human sensations.

That’s when the tower bell rings.
It’s time to run, run for more of those emotions.

And come to the ground floor to see and feel everything.

As the mom looks around patiently,

And as the dad awaits to hold his child.

Suddenly, I hear an angel calling for me

And I’m back to Earth.

That’s when I realize:
The Air is always surrounding me.

It winds to the east, west, north, and south.

And I breathe him passionately,

He is endless air.

A new art

After an immersion into time and space.

I went to a dimension I didn’t know.

Where things were far beyond my current reality.

And where the blue sea met the white air.

In a place that I didn’t know it could even exist.

With emotions I didn’t know I could feel.

With a desire for new journeys that would take me

To other portals of life that transcended this existence.

After a few portals, I started to see things I couldn’t see.

I started to feel the air accompanying me

Wherever I went to.

In between the faces of the multitude of angels,

I saw someone.

And as the angels sung a symphony of pure joy,

I could look more into his eyes.

But then the portals closed so that they could open again.

And I could look in his eyes.

As I left the portals,

A feeling instantly appeared.

Like the summertime missing the coldness of winter.

Just so that new seasons could come.

And so that the portals could open again.

In a way where every single time is an unique moment

Of our short lives in the cotton sea.

While the angels start a choir,

The flowers bloom and

I feel the powerful and poetic art that life is.
