It's all about music.

NOMADICS

Over time I've been trying to be more reflective on quotes, music, places, and people.
And as I usually write chronicles with quotes, here are two:

1.GO WHERE YOU'RE TREATED BEST.
This is one of my favorite quotes this year.

And Milan Kundera's:
2.Seul le retour au pays natal après une longue absence peut dévoiler l'étrangeté substantielle du monde et de l'existence (one of the first quotes on Bernard Comment's Meme les Oiseaux).
It means that after staying away from your homeland for a while, you can realize how weird the world and the existence are.

From these we get two perspectives:
First is YOU SHOULD 100% GO WHERE YOU ARE TREATED BEST.
Second is that living, travelling abroad is a crazy but enriching, existential(ist) experience.

Life is too short to invest your energy in people and places without a good meaning and purpose for you. Most importantly, don't expect anything, but go, give life a try and see how every person or place is.

If you're a traveller: Google Flights // Skyscanner // Booking // Airbnb // Hostelworld // Flatio
Can help you :))

But one thing I can tell you is that after you've found people who appreciate you and treat you good, these are your people and BABY, you're not alone. The world has billions of people. Somewhere there must be people with ideas or interests like yours.

Take a special look at how you feel at certain places. Feel the energy.
An example is that I was recently in Tirana, Albania. First I took the L7 bus route to downtown and then I took the route back. The thing was that in both routes I asked for help as I wanted to confirm the timetables and routes. And in both cases, there were people to help. Help, you're a goddess.
Now I recall when I was in Rome looking for a place to buy a bus ticket and it was a place where they sold marijuana-related stuff, let's say >>>

And when I hopped on the bus, Help, you came again into the body of an Italian soul.

HOW TO APPRECIATE YOUR BODY AND SOUL
Analyze how you treat others and how others treat you.
Karma has come for you, for me, for each and all of us.
What you do to yourself, to others and to your present reflects in how you live.

While I write this, with my Body and Soul (reference to Amy and Tony's cover), I keep trying things out.

And music is such a powerful healing process!
Body and Soul, for example, was one of the songs I listened the most this year.
Amy has a wonderful voice. With Tony they make one of the best duos I have ever listened to. Check Tony's duos with Aretha Franklin and Lady Gaga too. Gaga is great at jazz covers.

Back to Body and Soul:
My life // A wreck
You're making
I'll gladly surrender
Myself // To you
Body and soul

This song is about when you're so passionate about something or someone or somewhere. But at the end that thing, person or place only gives you a good life lesson and nothing else. So, you end up hurting yourself, but what is life without passion? Without your body and soul?

The thing is you've gotta direct that passion into the right situations. That's key.
Trust your intuition and your senses. But don't sell your body and soul.

HOW TO BELIEVE IN THE KINDNESS OF STRANGERS
Besides passion, what's life without help (The goddess) and random strangers?
You have probably heard about that saying on whether people are good or bad.
I've got that Elizabeth Grant's "I believe in the kindness of strangers". She was a part of my teenage years so, yes, I believe in the kindness of strangers.
Real travel example: in 2022 I've done couchsurfing in the lands of God(s) know(s) where.

But why some people can't trust strangers? Aren't we all strangers afterwards?
Consider people's kind intentions, but put your feelings first.
That will save you some pain with all the heartbreakers and painkillers.
Something smells weird? Get OUT.

HOW TO FEEL, HEAL, BREATH (LISTEN TO THESE ON REPEAT)
Spirit - Beyonce
Higher Power - Coldplay
Praying - Kesha
Roar - Katy Perry
Gracias A La Vida - Mercedes Sosa's version
Saute - Barba Pravi

The one and only Susan Boyle tells me:
And so here am I
Open arms and ready to stand
I've got the world in my hands
And it feels like my turn to fly.
